Royal Canadian Mint
THE MOST SECURE INVESTMENT COINS IN THE WORLD
Royal Canadian Mint
The Canadian state corporation Royal Canadian Mint, established in 1908, is responsible for the production of all coins of the Canadian currency. This institution not only engages in the production of domestic currency but also manufactures coins for other countries and produces collector’s and investment coins.
Thanks to constant innovations, technological advancement, and a commitment to quality, the Royal Canadian Mint has gained an international reputation in the minting industry. Among its most famous products are the gold coins from the Maple Leaf series.
The “Maple Leaf” series was launched in 1979 and stands out for the exceptional purity of gold (999.9‰) and its iconic image. On one side of the coin is depicted a maple leaf, one of the national symbols of Canada, and on the other side is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Maple Leaf coins are available in various sizes, including 1/20 ounce, 1/10 ounce, 1/4 ounce, 1/2 ounce, and 1 ounce, offering a wide range of options for investors and collectors.
In addition to regular issues, the Royal Canadian Mint often releases special series of Maple Leaf coins to commemorate important events or anniversaries. These limited editions often include additional design elements, such as holograms, color accents, or special marks, which further enhance the aesthetic value of these coins.
